I have been photographing little Lucy since she was a newborn and now I have had the privilege to photograph her little brother since he was a newborn too. I have so enjoyed watching these two grow and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
We just finished up little O’s Baby’s 1st year plan the other day! I hope you enjoy his curiosity and beautiful eyes as much as I did!
Hey everyone! Long time no post! I have been super busy with fall sessions (a good thing) and have neglected this little old blog (a bad thing) Please forgive me! Anyway, I wanted to share this fun family session I had the priviledge to photograph. The Y’s are a great little young family, they are full of love for their little boy! See below:

These are some images from a Pittsburgh travel session I did in Alley and Oakley’s yard with their boys.
I rarely share on my business blog photos of my own son, but I really like these and thought they were fun and summery and he was being very natural, so I have lots of natural smiles. HOWEVER, these are also a great example of WHAT-NOT-TO-WEAR for a photo session. Notice the character shirt (a big no-no), the bright red (I’m not a fan of red clothing in portraits because it grabs the attention away from the subject) and the gray athletic shorts. But this is what he had on at the time and I didn’t want to ruin the moment, plus we were just having some fun. These were taken at my Parents’ place. They have this swing in a tree in the front yard. The road is right beside here and it took some creative framing and angles to not show it in the photos. Anyway, enjoy the photos. I hope they bring back some childhood memories of your own.
What a doll baby! I was so glad to see Lucy again the other night for her two year old session. I have photographed her since she was a newborn and I absolutely LOVE watching her grow. She sure moves much faster than the last time I saw her. I have to be honest and say that on my way home from this session, I was a little nervous about having enough images for a complete gallery. My camera’s view most of the evening was of Lucy’s back and little feet running the opposite direction. But I was very happy once I got the images home and into my computer. And I hope Mom and Dad like them too! Can’t wait ’til next time Lucy.
Little G is 2 years old. He has the cutest chubbiest cheeks ever! He gave me a run for my money but I think I captured his little personality in this mini session in his home.
