I met up with Jaelanie and her parents at Inniswood Metro Gardens for her senior portraits. I loved meeting this beautiful young lady. She has a quiet strength about her. She also dabbles in photogrpahy herself so we got to chat about that a little bit as well. Enjoy!
I returned to Shady Spring Stables to photograph their beautiful Gypsy Vanner mares. This time it was warm and sunny! Enjoy!
Vik and I went downtown for some of the spring trees in the city. Towards the end of session, as dusk was coming on, the city lights starting coming on and I had the unexpected sparkling city lights in the background and I loved the way they looked. Something I didn’t even think of when preparing for the session, but I saw them and used them. I love pleasant little surprised like that. And I love the spontaneity of photography, how little things like that can present themselves and you can take advantage of them, and see things in a new way.
I had the great honor to meet the gorgeous buckskin Gypsy Vanner Stallion Segway and photograph him. Segway is an up and coming 3 year old stallion. Keep your eyes on him, he’s going places! He’s owned by Shady Spring Stables in Troy Ohio. We got this shoot in on the very last good snowfall we had this past winter. Just in the nick of time, the snow was melting and was very wet! I’m glad we were able to do it. I’ll be visiting Shady Springs again soon to photograph some of their mares. Can’t wait! In the meantime, enjoy these photos.

I went out to visit my friend Kim and her farm, Crosswind Farm Paints, for a day of fun in the snow!
