These are just some shots of pasture horses. I would love to get into equine photography.
Horses have been a great love of mine since I was a little girl. My first love was my pony Kandi. She was small but she had a big heart. She was ornery as all get-out. She didn’t know she was little, she thought she was a racehorse. Anytime we were out on the trail she had to be the leader of the pack. When we would gallop with the other horses, she would just run her little heart out trying to get out in front. She would hold her own even with the tallest horse. Of course she wouldn’t come out in front but she didn’t fall far behind. Below are some pictures of me and her, circa mid 1980’s. LOL!

These aren’t the best quality photos but I love them because they show the relationship between us, her being ornery and me loving it. And yes, that cast on my arm in the first one is from her!

So I’m looking to photograph horses. If any of you out there are horse owners, consider having me take some photos for you. Imagine what I could do if the horse was well groomed and shiny and I had a handler to put him/her in position for me!

Fall Availability

I wanted to let you all know that I only have one weekend spot left for September. That date is Sunday September 30th in the morining only. For October, the weekends I still have open is the 6th and 7th or the 27th and 28th. I do have some weekday evenings available both in September and October. Fall is an awesome time to have photos taken. The colors and light are just beautiful. And of course the weather is cooler and more comfortable. Fall is my favorite time of year.
