Well, look at him now! Little B. is now 1 year old. I can’t believe it! The time has flown by so fast and what a handsome little guy he has grown into. I can’t wait to watch him grow over the years.

I saw baby L again yesterday for her 9 month session. She is in my Baby’s First Year plan. I just have to say that I love the baby planners. I get to know them so well. L’s mom (and dad) and I have become very comfortable with each other and it is truly like spending time with a friend. L has become used to me as well by now and we have fun together. This makes for a very enjoyable session and everything goes smoothly. I highly recommend a Baby’s First Year plan to any new parent. It makes for the best possible experience and you will have every stage of your baby’s development recorded. Babies grow and change SO MUCH in the first year. Make sure you always remember how they were. It is so fleeting.

Okay, maybe he wasn’t blue but we had lots of nice soft blues going on here in these photos. I had the privilege to photograph little Vance the other day. What a cutie!

He had quite the funny faces for me:

Hello everyone! I just returned from Imaging USA in Nashville TN, a photography convention by Professional Photographers of America. It was great fun and a great learning experience. Hopefully I brought something back with me that will benefit you. I left feeling so inspired to take my art and craft to the next level. So that is what I am going to strive to do. I hope you will join my in my journey, I would love to work with you to create some beautiful art in 2010!

Over the cold months, I am going to be offering some special “mini” sessions. These sessions will be held in my home natural light studio, are shorter in length (about 30 minutes) and will have a session fee of only $50. These sessions will be available on weekdays at 10 a.m. There are only a limited number of sessions available, so if you are interested make sure to contact me right away to reserve your space. *Limited edition mini sessions are for 1 person or pet at a time.

I also plan to do some more of these limited edition sessions throughout the year. So stay tuned for more details in the weeks to come.

2009 Year in Review {Columbus Ohio Photographer}

2009 was a great year!  And it is all because of you, my wonderful clients.  This has been my busiest year so far, and that is a good thing.  My name and my work are getting out there and I want to thank all my clients who sent me friends and family my way.  It means so much to me that you value and trust me and my work enough to recommend me to a friend.  I truly love what I do, and I feel so blessed that you have allowed me to capture your special moments, memories, and lives.  You really are the best clients in the world!

I photographed this cute little Morgan mare several weeks ago. However, I had to keep it quiet since the photo shoot and a framed print were to be gifts for my client’s wife. The gift has been given and so now I can share them with all of you. She was very happy with her gift and sent me a very nice e-mail. And can I say what a thoughtful husband?!! He should definitely get brownie points for that.

Snow Call List {Ohio Equine Photographer}

OK, peeps listen up! This winter I will be offering a very select few FREE sessions! I am offering free snow sessions this winter! I would like to photograph a horse(s) in the snow, a dog(s) in the snow and a family in the snow. I will be offering at least one of each of these sessions. To apply, simply send me an e-mail through the contact page with which of these sessions you would be interested in, tell me about the subjects of the photos, and what part of town you live in, and your phone number. You will then be put on a call list. You must be flexible and able to do the photo shoot on short notice, as this all depends on the weather. When a good snow comes or is forcast and I am available for a session, I will call someone on the list, and if they don’t answer or are not available I will move to the next one on the list. And that’s about it in a nutshell! So contact me now to join the “snow shoot will-call” list!

The fine print:
*You must agree to your images being used by me for the purpose of advertising, promotion, display, art, and competition and sign a paper stating such.
*Preference will be given to those who match my portfolio needs and who are at a shorter driving distance.
